Ans: Amount of pulp residues – there will be no big difference if only the pulp residues are severely infected but if a large amount of pulp residues remained it may cause inflammation. Quality of pulp residues – prognosis will not be good if the pulp residues are bacterially or chemically infected. Conclusion – small amount of pulp residues can be controlled by the initial high pH of SavDen® MTA but dentists should try their best in trying to remove the pulp residues as much as possible.
